The AMS-JSMSG presents a special interest group session addressing the topic of anti-Semitism in music with an international and diverse panel of scholars.

Featured presenters: Ruth HaCohen (Pinczower) (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem), Bonnie Gordon (University of Virginia), Rebecca Cypess (Rutgers University), and Kathryn Huether (Vanderbilt University). The session will be co-chaired by Uri Schreter (Harvard University) and Nicolette van den Bogerd (Indiana University). The panel will be followed by remarks from discussant Amanda Ruppenthal Stein (Carroll University), a roundtable discussion, and an open Q&A with the audience.
During this session, the group will also announce the winners of the 2023 JSMSG Publication Awards.
